An unnamed householder in Aberhosan, Powys, was unaware the old set would emit a signal which would interfere with the entire village's broadband. After 18 months engineers began an investigation after a cable replacement programme failed to fix the issue. The embarrassed householder promised not to use the television again. The village now has a stable broadband signal. Openreach engineers were baffled by the continuous problem and it wasn't until they used a monitoring device that they found the fault...

22 September 2020 Stock markets in Asia suffered on Tuesday from the fallout from UK and US investors worried about a rise in coronavirus cases. Australia, Hong Kong, China and South Korea stock markets were all down. Investors were also rattled by dimming hopes for more financial support for the US economy. However, European markets opened slightly higher on Tuesday and London's 100 share index was up 0.4% at 5826.24 points. Earlier, Australia's All Ordinaries ended down 0.7% at 5,973.50, Hong Kong's Hang Seng lost 1% to 23,720.06, the Shanghai Composite fell 1.3% to 3,274.30 while South Korea's Kospi dropped by 2.38%, to end at 2,332.59.  Japan's markets were closed for a public holiday. He will also have to pay a fine of 4.2m yuan (£482,950;$620,000). This is a 5G-enabled successor to the S730G and a faster alternative to the S690 chip (while still keeping the budget below S765 levels). The 750G is equipped X52 modem also used in the S765 chips. Compared to the X51 found inside the S690, it adds mmWave 5G and can hit peak download speeds of 3.7 Gbps (up from 2.5 Gbps).
